You load a mesh object, but then what?

2. Extending free form surface
How to use quad surface in more efficient way for trimming

3. Choosing the right axis for Revolved surface
Be careful when you select the axis of revolution. In some cases this might give you wrong results, thinking that it is a problem of the software.

4. Use Extruded Surface
Do not try to solve your problem with planes and cylinders. Use Extruded surface instead.

5. Diameter or radius?
See how to set what type of dimensioning to be used when creating cylinders, spheres or circles in 2D sketch.
